These boots were my Christmas present from my dear husband, who knows me VERY well, and now that I've been using them for almost eight months I thought it was a good time to write a little review of them. If you don't want to read the whole thing, let me sum it up for you.....THEY ROCK.
I've always been a polo-wrap girl for the most part, because boots always seemed too hard to fit properly. They're either sliding down your horse's legs or they're just a tiny bit too small and there's a gap where the sides don't quite come together. I got lucky with these–the size M fits Clay perfectly and they are so much quicker and easier to apply than polos.
They are super easy to clean (whatever magical material they're made from just wipes clean with a damp cloth and they look almost new still after eight months of use), which sets them way above polos in my book (have you washed your polos recently? Me neither. They're so annoying how they get tangled in the machine, and the fleece ones always shrink no matter what I do.)
They seem really supportive without being too stiff. They do break in and stretch a tiny bit, but it just makes them even softer and easier to use. Also, they look good. I have them in white for all 4 legs and when Clay has them on with his white bell boots, he sure looks sharp. They're not the cheapest boots out there, but I don't really see any wear on them after all this time so I'd say they'e very well made and should last a long time.
I can't really find anything I don't like about them, other than maybe the price, so I give these babies FIVE STARS!
