I have been riding in the same old pair of Ariat field boots for...15 years? Maybe longer. They've served me well. When they're all polished up for a show you'd never know they were that old. But pregnancy made my calves swell, or maybe they just got slightly more muscular from carrying around all that extra weight. Either way, my trusty old boots are super hard to get on and off now, and give me blisters when I walk. Sad trainer.
I want a nice pair of Dressage boots badly, and have been cruising the ol' eBay for a gently used pair, but being of the short and muscular variety, there is very rarely ever anything that fits my foot-leg combo. Every once in a while my eyes wander from the affordable, broken-in boots on eBay to the SUPER GORGEOUS and equally as pricey custom boots that Instagram constantly and cruelly scatters across my feed (trouble!)
There are many incredible custom boot companies out there, but I keep coming back to Celeris. Their boots are just to die for...you can tell they're made with love and pride. They offer so many different styles, leathers and colors–I don't know how anyone ever chooses from all the options! Oh to be able afford a nice conservative pair for shows and a colorful, fun pair for schooling.
Seriously, check out their Instagram at your own risk. I keep looking at my tack trunk wondering how much money I could make towards a pair of Celeris boots if I sold everything else I own.... ;) Ho hum.
