On Halloween night we celebrated the change of seasons–the end of long, slow, warm evenings spent trail-riding in the golden light and the beginning of the dark, cold, long winter–with a costume parade and potluck at the barn. It was fun to see the students and horses dressed up and smiling and having fun together.
We have a long winter ahead of us, but we're all in it together. It makes me happy that our barn is full of wonderful, positive folks to encourage each other and keep each other going when the going gets tough.
Thanks to all our wonderful students who make Sioux River a fun and lively place! Happy Halloween!
